*CENSORED* YEAH!!! YTV pulls through in terms of Pokemon once again!

I still would've liked for YTV to get the 1st Mystery Dungeon special though, despite the fact that I've already seen it through other means. (I'm quite sure they haven't aired that yet.)

This also explains the preempting of 5D's this week on Saturday.

On a separate note, it seems that YTV has indeed gotten the 2nd season of Dinosaur King. Forgetting that YGO 5D's airs at 12:30 instead of noon, I tuned in, only to realize that it was DinoKing instead, and that it was a totally different episode that I hadn't seen yet.

While I lost interest in Pokemon a while back, it's nice to see YTV showing at least some commitment to new anime.

Agreed. Here's hoping they treat Naruto and Bleach with that commitment soon.

How many of the movies has YTV aired? I don't think they've aired any of the Pokemon USA dubbed ones. Or even a few of the remaining 4Kids ones.

I don't think they've aired past the Deoxys one, which I believe is the seventh. They haven't aired the last 4Kids-dubbed one, nor any of the Pokemon USA movies.

They also haven't aired the first Mystery Dungeon special, which makes this situation a little odd, as they're jumping right into the second and third.

Mohji: Correct - unless the 8th one snuck by our noses, they have only aired up to the 7th movie.

I am as happy as you are. And yeah, YTV is airing the second season of DinoKing. It's kinda cool, a new episode premieres on the CW4Kids at 8:30am, and the same new episode airs on YTV at 12pm. It's kind of a simulcast. 5D's just premiered and its been pre-empted twice, although I've seen the episodes on the CW4Kids.

Pokemon seems to be the main anime YTV still loves, and that's completely great with me. Like some have said before, YTV seems to be more interested in the kid-targeted anime.

Seems kinda unlikely now, unless the Bionix relaunch is for real.

They've aired Seasons 1-11(and now 12), 7 of the movies(up to Deoxys), the Mewtwo Returns special, and now the 2 mysetery dungeon specials. They only haven't aired Movies 8-11, the Mastermind of Mirage of Pokemon, and the first Mystery Dungeon. YTV didn't seem as interested in the first Dungeon games, as they are in Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky.

Exactly right.

Pokemon is actually, my most favourite television show ever. Tied maybe with the Dragon Ball series. There is actually, no end in sight for Pokemon. It may continue forever, or end up being one of the longest-running animated series. I believe it already is one of the longest-running animated series.

Pokemon will never be the longest running animated TV show, if you look at ANN's weekly top rated anime series in Japan, almost all of the top 5 are series that started in like the 70's or 80's. None of them have an end in sight.

However, those two shows DO air during the weekday - during their 7:30 AM slots. The thing I want to know is whether or not they premiere during the weekday and the encore time slot is during Saturday, or vice versa.

I'd check, though I'm either asleep or heading to school (Vancouver feed) during those times, which makes it difficult for me. That and YTV doesn't list the episode titles, as usual.

It is possible. And if not in Japan, here in Canada or America it can be. How many animated shows here have been running for 12 years.

Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's episodes premiere Thursdays at 7:30am and repeats Saturday at 12:30pm.
Dinosaur King Season 2 episodes premiere Saturdays at 12:00pm, and repeats Wednesday at 7:30am.

The Simpsons is running around 20. They don't have as many episodes though.

The specials were quite cute. I could see a 26 episode series being made out of the Mystery Dungeon ones.

I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF THE MARATHON. LOVED THE EPISODES, LOVED THE OPENING, AND LOVED THE SPECIALS. Looking forward to 2 all-new episodes a week, Saturday at 11am and 11:30am.

As did I.

By the way Anime-Ash, did a site actually list that for DinoKing, or did you find out by tuning in at 7:30 AM? I ask out of curiosity.

I think that premieres of Dinosaur King will now air Wednesday mornings, since this Saturday's episode was pre-empted by the Mystery Dungeon specials.

I tuned in at 7:30am. It was a rerun of the season premiere that had aired the Saturday before.
Also looking on YTV's site, the episode for this Wednesday is a Season 1 repeat episode, but for this Saturday, YTV lists a Season 2 episode at 12pm. This means new episodes premiere Saturday at 12pm. You can check via PVR or by tuning in to make sure.

Going by YTV's site, new episodes should continue to air Saturday at 12pm, cuz a repeat season 1 episode is scheduled to air this Wednesday. Although YTV's site could be wrong. You can check if you want.

Starting this Saturday, Pokemon DP Galactic Battles moves to Saturdays from 12pm-1pm. The 2 previously aired DPGB episodes are repeating, and new episodes will resume on November 14. There is no reason as to why YTV moved it to 12pm, but it may be the same reason as to why Pretty Cure has been temporarily(hopefully it's temporary) removed from the schedule. This also means Dinosaur King premieres get pushed to Saturdays at 1pm, and 5D's moves to Saturdays at 1:30pm.

Also,Carlos from the Zone announced on Monday, before the 4pm episode of Spongebob, that an ALL-NEW POKEMON MOVIE WILL BE PREMIERING ON YTV THIS MONTH. He said stay tuned to YTV's site for details. This could mean YTV is finally airing Movie 8, or they may skip movies 8-11, and just air Movie 12, as many other countries, including CN U.S., are set to premiere Movie 12 this month. Date and details should be announced soon for this ALL-NEW POKEMON MOVIE EVENT ON YTV!

Interesting. From Zap2it, it looks like the first episode of Galactic Battles, "Get Your Rotom Running" will be airing on Friday November 20th, following the last episode of Battle Dimension.

Will Galactic Battles be running Monday-Friday now, and are we going back to daily Pokemon premieres? If so, we could quite easily overcome Cartoon Network's premieres of this season.

About freaking time, YTV! =D

I've actually seen Movie 8 subbed, but I never did get around to purchasing them.

I would like to see Movie 8 go ahead first, but I'm thinking that it'll be the latest movie instead.

Yeah, I saw that on Zap2it too. I think YTV is just rerunning the DPGB episodes they have aired already, and most likely, will go back to DPBD after their GB reruns end. Although, it is possible they could have premieres on weekdays, but another timeslot would be need, like the 3:29pm timeslot again. Plus, I also had something to look forward to, 2 all-new episodes of Pokemon on Saturdays. If they premiere it on weekdays, we go back to reruns, until the next season.

Yeah, I think we can say its either Movie 8 or Movie 12. I'm just assuming though.

YTV's site revealed that POKEMON MOVIE 12-ARCEUS AND THE JEWEL OF LIFE WILL PREMIERE SATURDAY AT 12:00PM ON YTV. Looks like YTV is skipping over Movies 8-11. Also, it seems as though YTV got Season 12, the Mystery Dungeon specials, and Movie 12 in one package. Plus we get the movie before the Japan/Canada/U.S/ DVD Release, and a week after the CN premiere. This also means new Galactic Battles is pre-empted Saturday. Really looking forward to this movie premiere, and be sure to watch Pokemon Movie 12-Arceus and the Jewel Saturday from 12:00pm-2:00pm.

After all that progress, it looks like YTV has decided to pull a complete 180 on us.

Starting next Friday, weekday reruns go all the way back to the Advanced Battle season. Also, Galactic Battles is starting over on Saturday afternoons.

It's pretty random of them to show Advanced Battle now, of all times. I thought they lost the license to that a while ago, as they haven't shown this season for several years. This may very well be the last run any of the 4Kids-dubbed episodes get on television.

YTV is showing Advanced Battle because the weekday airings of DPGB have caught up to the Saturday episodes. It's been speculated that YTV could air Movies 8-11 with their corresponding season. So Movie 8 with Advacned Battle, and Movie 9 with Battle Frontier and so on. I believe YTV still has the rights of the 4kids beginning with Season 5, from what's on their site. They haven't shown A.Battle since summer 2007, and I'm looking forward to this run. Like you said, this may be the last time any 4Kids episodes(excluding Pokemon Chronicles which airs during Christmas), may air on T.V. Also, I'm thinking the HD episodes of Pokemon will begin airing in January.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. This is December and they preempt a lot of their regular schedule at this time. Reruns are normal this time of year.

YTV's site has confirmed that the all-new HD episodes will begin airing on Saturday January 9 at 12:00pm. I can't wait for the amazing animated episodes and updated opening theme.

They're probably running them in 720 which is about the maximum for non-HD systems. Although it could also mean they're running the episodes in widescreen.
